New rules arrive faster than teams can trace them through every policy and process. Bastion reads each change, finds what it touches in your company and tells the owners.

How it works in practice
A new rule comes in
Official sources reach Bastion through a one-way feed: data comes in, nothing goes out. When a regulator publishes a new rule or an update, Bastion picks it up and works out what actually changed compared with the previous version.
Decides: Head of compliance
Update: outsourcing of IT services, revision 3
What it touches
Bastion searches your policies, procedures and process maps for everything the change affects. The result is a map of three policies and two processes, each with the exact section that no longer fits.
Decides: Head of compliance
3 policies and 2 processes affected
What to change and by when
For each affected document Bastion writes what needs to change, the deadline the rule sets and the owner who is responsible. Where the rule can be read in more than one way, it says so and quotes the text.

Owners get their tasks
Once the head of compliance has reviewed the assessment, each owner gets a task with the rule, the section to change and the deadline. Every step is recorded in the audit log.

You get: A list of gaps, each with the policy section it breaks.
KYC and AML cases
Ask: Prepare the case file for this client review.
You get: A structured case with documents, the ownership chain and open questions for the analyst.
Risk signals
Ask: Which contracts signed this quarter have unusual payment terms?
You get: Flagged documents with the reason and a link to each one.
